Founded by a group of Odia artists and enthusiasts the ABJA Foundation is a non profitable Trust that focuses on the production of new artistic works by emerging artists and to improve the quality of understanding through a balance between Contemporary, Folk and Tradition in the fields of Textile, Visual art and Crafts.

Our Foundation is working and reimagining ways to protect and promote India’s rich heritage to not only sustain but also make art and culture relevant to that the public appreciates and connects with its rich arts and culture. India has a rich cultural heritage and tradition of huge variety of handicrafts which are the mirror of the cultural identity of our ethnicity and root of the Indian art . One of our objectives is to train and educate the artisans to improve the skill of the hand to produce the handicrafts without the help of modern machinery and equipment’s as well, since today handmade products are considered to be a fashion and item of luxury. Our aim to provide art, crafts & handloom products throughout India and help our artists and weavers to sustain in their life by innovative ways.
